You'll begin your experience by meeting your guide at the entrance to St. Mark's Basilica. Thanks to your guided tour ticket, you'll enter this masterpiece of Byzantine architecture directly.

Inside, your guide will reveal the basilica's secrets, explaining the history of its famous golden mosaics, impressive domes and artistic treasures. You'll also discover details about the building's construction and its importance in the history of Venice.

At an additional cost, you can also access the Basilica's terraces and enjoy panoramic views over the entire Piazza San Marco and the center of Venice (option bookable for stays from April 1, 2025).

This tour will offer you an in-depth understanding of one of Venice's most iconic monuments, while allowing you to appreciate its beauty without the usual crowds.

  • For security reasons, It is not allowed to enter with backpacks inside St. Mark's Basilica
  • For the visit of the Basilica, please wear proper clothes (no flip-flops or bare tops)
  • The tour is always conducted in one language only and in small groups
  • This activity is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with reduced mobility
  • The tour will not be able to take place in case of exceptional high tide (Acqua alta) or in case of unscheduled religious services (in this case, it can be postponed to the following day, otherwise it will be refunded)
  • IMPORTANT: St. Mark's Basilica is currently undergoing renovation work, and some parts of the monument are not accessible
