You can choose between an 8, 10 or 12-night stay and accommodation in a 3*or 4* hotel.

• This trip is not guided. You will travel and visit on your own
• We advise you to familiarize yourself with the formalities for entering Japan before booking your stay (VISA, vaccinations, etc.)
• This trip does not include flights
• Please select a flight that arrives on the same day as the start of the trip
   
• Accommodation capacity
  • Single room: 1 adult
  • Double/Twin room: 2 adults or 1 adult + 1 child
  • Babies are not allowed
  • Children's ages : 2 - 11 years
  • All specific requests for sleeping arrangements (double/separate beds) are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
  • For technical reasons, hotels may be replaced by similar accommodation and tour stops may be reversed.
  • In Japan, hotel rooms are often quite narrow and beds small. Check-in is usually mid-afternoon (3pm-4pm).
  • Please note that some hotels provide an eco-stay package. (Bed linen and room cleaning are done every 3 days or so, depending on the hotel).
  • The accommodation included in this trip is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. For more information, please contact customer service
  • In the event of late arrival or early departure on the first or last day due to airline schedules, no refund will be made. Similarly, any meals included in the package that cannot be taken due to these schedules cannot be reimbursed. Also, depending on the timetable of any optional extras and excursions, meals that cannot be taken at the hotel will be charged to the customer.

    • Tokyo: MONTEREY LA SŒUR GINZA or similar
    • Kyoto: KYOTO TOWER or similar
    • Hakone: ICHINOYU HONKAN or similar
       

Transportation :

• Tokyo airport (NRT or HND) and Osaka (KIX or ITM) airport shuttle transfer:
  • The transfer is by shared shuttle bus. The shuttle drops you off in front of your hotel and may make several stops along the way. On the return transfer, the shuttle drops you off at the airport, and may make several stops along the way. 1 piece of luggage per person included; for additional luggage, please contact us before departure.
  • In Kyoto, this service is subject to departure from Kansai (KIX) or Itami (ITM) airport between 10 a.m. and 2 a.m.
  • Outside these times, you may be offered a private transfer for an additional fee
  • If you return from Kobe airport (UKB), transfers will be at your expense.
     
• Hakone Free Pass:
  • It allows you to reach Hakone from Tokyo Shinjuku on the Odakyu line
  • After changing at Odawara, you'll reach Hakone and use your pass to take advantage of transport networks such as the Hakone Tozan buses, the Hakone Tozan Railway, the Lake Ashi cruise ship and the Hakone Cable car among others.
  • You can also enjoy discounts on certain entrance fees to tourist sites.
     
• Bullet train from Odawara (Hakone) to Kyoto:
  • In Japan, the train is undoubtedly one of the best ways to get around quickly and easily. Hakone is about 2 hours from Kyoto, and your Hakone Free Pass will take you first to Odawara station, where you can then transfer to Kyoto. Please note that train timetables will be provided in your travel diary.
• Luggage transfer between Tokyo and Kyoto:
  • Take advantage of our luggage transfer service to make your trip easier: your luggage will be collected from your hotel in Tokyo early in the morning and transferred to your hotel in Kyoto, so you won't be overloaded on your way from Tokyo-Hakone and Hakone-Kyoto. You'll need to bring a small bag for your overnight stay in Hakone.
