概要

Stroll through the historic centre of Syracuse and learn more about this ancient Greek city from your private guide!

You will enjoy a private transfer (if option chosen) to Syracuse. Considered the most beautiful city in Sicily, Syracuse is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is known for having been the most powerful city in Sicily and Greece and for Archimedes, the city's iconic figure. The historic centre of Syracuse is located on the island of Ortigia.

You will start your visit with an exploration of the Cathedral of Syracuse, one of the city's major buildings. You will see the many Greek temples converted into churches, Baroque architecture and the Fountain of Arethusa. You will then have about two and a half hours of free time to lose yourself in the cobbled streets of the historic centre or do some shopping.

After discovering one of the most beautiful cities in Sicily, you will be driven back to your accommodation (if option chosen).
