Follow your guide through the aisles of the Korean National Museum and along the Cheonggyecheon stream and experience the Korea of today and yesterday!
A shuttle will pick you up directly from your hotel to take you to the Korean National Museum.
Your English-speaking guide will introduce you to the key pieces of the National Museum's collections. Many of its pieces are listed as the country's national treasures! You will not only see porcelain and Korean celadons, paintings by artists of the Royal Academy of the Joseon Dynasty, calligraphy, musical instruments, Buddhist statues, stupas and pagodas, but also royal objects like jewellery and symbols of power such as the crown of the Silla dynasty.
You will then go on to discover the Cheonggyecheon stream. The city's main recreational area which is lively both day and night with its performances of all genres (theatre, music etc.), the natural stream, has been transformed over centuries into an open sewer and then a highway before becoming the promenade it is today.
Visit an amethyst factory, a purple stone often used in jewellery.
Finally, your shuttle bus will drop you off in the Itaewon district, a key area for Seoul for a shopping spree or put your finger on the pulse of one of the Korean capital's most happening and multi-cultural neighbourhoods!
