Rome and Vatican Pass: Sightseeing + Transport + Monuments + Museums

• Availability: every day (depending on the opening times/ days of the sites visited)

• Validity: The pass is valid for 72 consecutive hours (including the first day of use). For example, if you use the pass for the first time on a Monday at 4pm, the pass will be valid until Thursday at 3:59pm
• Opening hours & Information: Museums and monuments in Rome are generally open from 10am to 6pm. However, you are advised to check the opening times of each museum before planning your visit
• The Vatican is not open to visitors on religious holidays
• The pass for the hop-on, hop-off bus is valid for 72 hours. The service runs from 9am to 6pm

• The Rome & Vatican Pass does not grant access to temporary exhibitions at the museums
• Backpacks, suitcases and voluminous bags are not permitted within the Colosseum
• When visiting the Vatican, please note that sleeveless garments, clothes which fall above the knee, flip-flops, or otherwise inappropriate clothes are not permitted
• The Sistine Chapel is only accessible through the Vatican Museums
• Reservation Information: You are asked to indicate a provisional date for your visit when you book, but your pass is not restricted to this date – it will be valid for 72 hours from the first day of use and can be used any time within 12 months of the purchase date
• The most popular attractions also require you to book in advance including the Colosseum, the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel and Galleria Borghese. Details on how to book will be on your voucher - please read it attentively. It is highly recommended to book at least 10 days in advance as these attractions normally sell out fast. You will also need to show your Roma Pass or Omnia Card at the entrance, so make sure to bring these with you along with any reservation confirmation. You will not be able to visit the Vatican and Sistine Chapel without reserving a time slot with our local partner
• Metro times: Rome's metro generally runs between 5:30am and 11:30pm during the week, and until 1:30am on Fridays and Saturdays
• People with reduced mobility and older visitors, as well as an accompanying person, are entitled to free access to the majority of monuments and sites within Rome and the Vatican. Please consult the policy of the individual monument you wish to visit for precise details about admission rates
• Minors under the age of 18 years also benefit from free entry or reduced rates for the majority of sites and monuments included on the pass. Please consult the policy of the individual monument you wish to visit for precise details about admission rates
• New security checks with airport-style controls have been put in place at the Colosseum. Due to this, there may be a queue to pass the security check, even for those with a fast-track ticket

USEFUL INFORMATION:

• The information booklet provided with the pass is in English and Italian
• After registration, you will receive the voucher by email. Please exchange the voucher for your official pass at one of the pick up points mentioned on the voucher.
• The Roma Pass includes entry to 2 museums free of charge. This will be applied to the FIRST TWO museums you visit with the pass. For example, if you reserve a visit to the Borghese Gallery, then decide to go to the Capitole Museums and Castel Sant'Angelo first, you will have free entry to the Capitole Museums and Castel Sant'Angelo but will be asked to pay a reduced entry fee for the Borghese Gallery
• The pass comes in the form of 1 Rome Pass (included your Transport Pass) + 1 Vatican Pass (Omnia Card) + 1 Hop-on/Hop-off Bus Tour Pass + 1 information booklet + 1 map of Rome
• Animals not admitted
• The Rome & Vatican Pass is non-transferable
