Relax in the warm, therapeutic waters of the famous Blue Lagoon thanks to a round-trip bus transfer from central Reykjavík!
The Blue Lagoon is in south-west Iceland, about 40 minutes from Reykjavík. It was formed in 1976 as a result of excess hot water from the Svartseng geothermal power plant. In 1999, the site became a major spa resort. The lagoon's warm water is rich in mineral salts and algae, and is known for its healing properties.
You'll be picked up by a shuttle bus from the city centre or from the Reykjavík bus station. Once there, you'll enjoy a relaxing moment in a lunar landscape. The cool outdoor air makes it even more fun to bathe in these blue 38°C waters surrounded by lava fields. You can extend your relaxing outing by going to the on-site spa, shop and restaurants.
Thanks to our tour operator's flexible times, you can go to the Blue Lagoon as soon as it opens, or in the early evening to enjoy the lights and starry sky.
Once done, you can hop on the return bus at the specified time and be back in Reykjavík that same day.
