Discover the Douro region and taste locally-produced Portuguese wines!
Starting from Porto, you'll travel to the medieval town of Amarante and enjoy a half-hour guided tour and some free time. You'll then head for Casa dos Barros and visit the vineyard and wine cellar, where you'll take part in a tasting of 3 wines*. You'll lunch a full menu at Casa dos Barros, featuring local delicacies.
In the early afternoon, you'll board a boat and enjoy a one-hour cruise on the Douro, the perfect opportunity to observe the balcony vineyards surrounding you.
Finally, you'll make a stop at the Quinta São Luiz estate, home to important vineyards, and again taste 3 local wines* accompanied by some local snacks.
You'll be driven back to the starting point after a day in the Douro Valley, discovering several vineyards.
