Discover the Château de Chambord as well as its french gardens with a skip-the-line ticket!

Enjoy a visit at your own pace at one of the most famous castles in the Loire: The Château de Chambord. You will discover its history since the start of its construction back in the 16th century. As a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981, the castle is a known site for its Renaissance architectural style. Inside, you will have access to more than 60 rooms and see over 4500 artworks. Among the stunning decor, you will have the chance to admire a double-revolution staircase, arches and terasses. you will also have access to the castle's temporary exhibitions.

You will then have the opportunity to visit the castle's french gardens. Renewed in 2017, they spread over 6 hectares and have a wide variety of trees, flowers and plants.

  • Availability: every day except December 25, January 1 and exceptional cases
  • Hours: vary according to season, from 9am to 5 or 6pm
  • Entry to the château is possible until 30 min before closing
  • Access to the formal gardens is possible until 30 min before the château closes
  • Duration: self-guided tour (half a day is recommended)
  • Location: Château de Chambord
     
  • You are asked to select a tentative date when booking. Please note, however, that you will be able to take the tour on the date of your choice (expiry date: 25/09/2027).
  • The ticket purchased is nominative, and you may be asked to show proof of identity
  • This ticket allows you to skip the ticket office and go straight to the checkpoints at the château entrance
  • On presentation of proof, admission is free for under-18s, European Union residents under 26, teachers with passes and French jobseekers
  • Beneficiaries of free admission must present themselves at a ticket office
  • Visitors with disabilities benefit from free admission to the château and gardens for themselves and their companions, on self-guided tours
  • Because of the architecture of the monument, some areas of the château are narrow, making it difficult for wheelchair users to get around
  • Please note that all tickets issued are non-cancellable, non-changeable and non-refundable
  • The Galerie Médicis (located on the first floor of the Château de Chenonceau) will be closed from September 30 until All Saints' Day (date to be reconfirmed) for renovation and maintenance
