概要

Explore the largest museum in Paris, home to historic works of art including the world-famous "Mona Lisa".

Wherever your interests lie, be it the ancient civilizations of the Mediterranean or the early 19th century, art-lovers are sure to find a collection to impress and delight them. 

Situated in the heart of Paris, between the Rive Droite (Right Bank) of the Seine and the Rue de Rivoli, this legendary site houses a timeless collection of varied, cosmopolitan artwork.

Your guided tour of the Louvre Museum will last 2 hours 30 minutes, starting with I.M. Pei's glass Pyramid, commissioned by François Mitterrand in 1983, which sits in the Napoleon courtyard. Your guide/interpretor will base your tour around three main masterpieces: the "Venus de Milo", the "Winged Victory of Samothrace" and Leondardo da Vinci's must-see "Mona Lisa".

The tour begins at 6:30pm.

  • Getting there: metro Palais Royal (lines 1 and 7), Pyramides (lines 7 and 14) and Tuileries (line 1)
     
  • This tour is not suitable for people with reduced mobility (walking tour with no lifts at key points)
  • The Louvre Museum closes at 10pm on Wednesdays and Fridays
  • All large bags, buggies and umbrellas must be left in the cloakroom
  • Animals not permitted
  • The tour ends at the Louvre Museum
