Immerse yourself in the culture of the local tribe in the village of Embera on a pirogue trip!
After being picked up from your hotel in Panama City, you'll set off for the port of Chagres. On arrival, you'll board a pirogue for a trip up the Chagres River. You'll head for a waterfall, where you can enjoy a swim for about 1 hour.
You'll then have lunch with a local meal before heading to the village of Embera. Here you'll spend the afternoon with the local tribe, learning about their traditions, including dance. You'll also learn about their traditional cuisine and the medicinal plants widely used in their community.
You'll be escorted back to your hotel in Panama City at the end of the tour.
