During your stay in New York, visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and learn more about the rich history of these two islands accompanied by a guide!
You will meet your guide in Battery Park, at the southern tip of Manhattan. You will then board the ferry bound for Liberty Island, home to the famous Statue of Liberty. Presented by France in 1886, "Lady Liberty" has become a symbol of the independence and freedom of the United States. You'll get close to it and admire its immensity - it's 46 metres high, and its flame reaches 93 metres off the ground!
You'll then take the ferry back to Ellis Island. Accompanied by your guide, you will walk around the island and visit the Immigration Museum. You'll learn more about the island that welcomed over 12 million immigrants in the 20th century. It was the main gateway to the United States, and today represents the poetic image of the "American Dream".
At the end of your tour, you will depart by ferry back to Manhattan.
