Discover a different side of Mykonos on a guided hike!
This 6.2km loop hike will take you through the typical rural landscapes of northern Mykonos to an unspoilt beach in the north of the island.
You'll meet your guide at an inland organic farm in the northeast of the island, from where you'll start your hike along ancient donkey trails and a stretch of paved road. On the way, you'll stop at a traditional family chapel called Agios Nikolaos. This small Orthodox church was built in the 4th century in honour of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors and fishermen. The guide will take you past the entrance to the abandoned barite mine, where you'll learn about Mykonos's mining past.
You'll then head to an unspoiled beach popular with locals, where you can take a dip or a rest in the shade. Home-made organic lemonade and a snack will be provided.
For your return, you'll take another route back to the vineyard, giving you the chance to admire different scenery.
