概要

Thanks to your ticket for the Villa Kerylos, step inside a magnificent villa inspired by Greek antiquity and commissioned by a scholar of the Belle Epoque!

Theodore Reinach, a literary man, archeologist, academic and statesman, commissioned this beautiful antique home in 1902. The structure was finished in 1908. Reinach wanted to combine an original reconstitution of a Greek home,  inspired by the house of Delos (a luxury Greek palace from the 2nd century B.C.) and the modern comforts of his time.

The Villa Kerylos is entirely furnished and decorated with frescos, mosaics and textiles. Admire the precious materials used, including Marble, alabaster and various types of exotic wood. The site is a tribute to the lifestyle and refined characteristics of ancient Greek civilisation.

Located in the Bay of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, the villa and it’s garden overlooks the Mediterranean. During the tour, admire the beautiful view.

  • Validity: Every day (except in exceptional cases)
  • Hours: 10am to 5/6pm depending on the period* (given as a guide, please visit the monument's website to check opening times)
  • Duration: free visit
     
  • You are asked to select a tentative date when booking. Please note, however, that you will be able to take the tour on the date of your choice (see expiry date on your ticket)
  • Last admission 30min before closing
  • The informative booklet is available in French, English, and Italian and will be handed to you at the entrance
  • Participants under 18 years of age and European Union residents under 26 years of age, disabled people (and their carers), jobseekers, Carte Culture - Carte ICOM and Pass Education holders may enter free of charge on presentation of proof
    PLEASE NOTE: all those receiving free admission must go through the ticket office to check their proof of entitlement
  • Please note that all tickets issued are non-cancellable, non-changeable and non-refundable
  • Access is free on the first Sunday of each month only from November to March

*From 01/09 to 30/04: 10am to 5pm
From 01/05 to 31/08: 10am to 6pm
From 01/10 to 31/12: 10am to 12:30pm, then 2pm to 5pm
