概要

Discover the life of a marine on the famous war battleship USS Iowa in Los Angeles!

Located at the port of San Pedro in Los Angeles, a former port of the U.S. Navy fleet, the battleship USS Iowa is famous for its voyage across the Atlantic in 1943. Aboard the ship was president Franklin Roosevelt, who was travelling to Europe to meet the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and the Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. During this visit, you will discover all about the history of the USS Iowa, including her years of service during World War II and the Korean War.

This open visit will immerse you in the lives of the sailors over the past 70 years. You will visit the bridge, the turrets, the kitchen, the cabins and more. Various exhibitions throughout the course of the visit also enhance the circuit.

  • Duration: open visit (roughly 90 minutes)
  • Opening times: 10am to 4pm
  • Location: Battleship IOWA Museum, San Pedro, Los Angeles

  • You will be asked to indicate a provisional date for your visit when you book, but your ticket is not restricted to this date. Your official ticket is non-dated, meaning you can use it on the day of your choice (within 1 year of the date you select upon booking)
  • The application "Battleship Iowa" is available in English, Spanish, Chinese or Japanese on the Apple Store (free download)
  • The USS Iowa visit circuit includes several flights of stairs
  • For safety reasons, children under the age of 3 years cannot take part in this visit
