Leeds Castle is one of England's most visited castles, located in the leafy Kent region. Built in 1119, this medieval-style castle has been home to many members of the British monarchy. Among them was King Henry VIII who inspired the famous Bluebeard legend. During your visit, you will be able to appreciate the decoration of the castle, a true reconstruction of the period style. 

Then take a stroll through the castle's parks and gardens. You can take the opportunity to stop by the "Culpeper Garden" and admire the wide variety of flower species there.

Finally, discover one of the most famous attractions of the castle: the labyrinth of 2,400 yew trees! With a level of difficulty considered medium to difficult, this labyrinth will delight children and adults alike!

For the little ones, a medieval-themed playground is available and includes a miniature replica of Leeds Castle, along with slides, zip lines and more. Don't end your visit without discovering the many species of birds in the castle's aviary and the falcon shows.

    • October to March: 10 am to 5 pm
  • Last admission to the castle and gardens from April to September: 4 pm
  • Last admission to the castle and gardens from October to March: 3 pm
  • You must go to the castle ticket office to exchange your voucher for a physical ticket
  • Work relating to the maintenance or restoration of the castle may take place during your visit. Some rooms in the castle may be closed to visitors in exceptional circumstances.
  • We recommend that you wear clothing suitable for walking.
