Spend a day discovering Beijing's national treasures.
A shuttle bus will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the Changping district, situated in Beijing's suburbs. In the midst of the Ming Dynasty Tombs, your guide will reveal an incredible Chinese vestige: the Dingling Underground Palace. Spend 2 hours visiting this underground labyrinth where the tombs of the first Ming rulers were found.
After your visit, you will have lunch in a local restaurant before getting back on the bus to travel to the north-east of Beijing.
Discover the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China, located 75km/46 miles from Beijing. This part of the Great Wall is one of the best preserved and is known for the beauty of its surrounding countryside. You can climb the Great Wall on foot or by cable car (suppplement).
During the return journey, you will make a stop in front of some of the venues built for the 2008 Olympic Games, including the Olympic Stadium.
Before returning to your hotel, you will also have the chance to visit a traditional Chinese silk workshop!
