Meet the seals at South Africa's Robberg Nature Reserve! 

Hop aboard a speedboat from Central Beach in Plenttenberg Bay to Robberg Nature Reserve, home to almost 6,000 seals. Don your mask, flippers, and snorkel and dive into the water with an instructor for an unforgettable meeting with these wild animals. You'll have a unique opportunity to approach and interact with them during their playtime. The speedboat trip can accommodate 12 people max. so as not to disturb the seals and their habitat.

  • Availability: every day (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Times: 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm (meet at the departure point 30 minutes in advance)
  • Departure point: Central Beach Car Park Hopwood Street Plettenberg Bay - Western Cape Province
  • Swimming with seals takes approximately 30 minutes
  • Maximum capacity of the speed boat is 12
  • Children under 6 years of age cannot participate in this activity
  • In the event of bad weather conditions, our provider reserves the right to cancel the activity. If this is the case, you'll be offered an alternative date or a refund
  • To make the most of your activity, don't forget to bring your swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes
