Meet Pacific turtles, hammerhead sharks and Galapagos sea lions at Kicker Rock near San Cristobal Island in the Galapagos!
You'll start by boarding a boat at Baquerizo Moreno Port on San Cristobal Island for the roughly one-hour crossing to Kicker Rock. You may be lucky enough to be escorted by dolphins and watch them match your boat for speed during the crossing.
Kicker Rocker is a huge 150m rock that emerges from the sea off the northeast coast of San Cristobal Island. When you get near the rock, the boat will circle it, so you can admire it from all angles.
This is a legendary dive spot due to its rich marine life. Pop on your mask and snorkel and explore the waters below the breathtaking cliffs. And once you're in the ocean, you'll be able to spot Pacific turtles, schools of angelfish, totally harmless hammerhead sharks and curious Galapagos sea lions that may well approach you.
Once done, you'll get back on the boat for a packed lunch made from a typical Ecuadorian dish. At the end of the outing, you'll be returned to the departure point.
