Explore Glendalough, Hollywood and Wiclow for a day trip from Dublin !
After meeting your driver guide early in the morning on Suffolk Street, you will head towards Glendalough, or «The Gorge of the Two Lakes», is one of the most important sites of monastic ruins in Ireland founded in the 6th century by Saint Kevin. You will have about 90 minutes to explore this place freely and walk around the lakes and waterfalls of Poulanass.
You will then have a free time to have lunch (not included).
Then you will head to the village of Hollywood, also known as the "original Hollywood" as it was named long before its famous namesake in California. You can enjoy the view of the valley and take pictures of the Irish "Hollywood" sign, while listening to your guide’s comments on the St Kevin’s Pilgrimage to Glendalough.
Your final stop will be at a typical Irish farm, where you will attend a demonstration of shepherd dogs. You will learn about the different breeds of dogs and sheep, and you will see how dogs are trained to guide the herds.
The tour will end around 4:30 pm in Dublin.
