Discover Dubai's must-see sights and enjoy a sunset desert safari on a full-day excursion!

Starting from your Dubai hotel aboard an air-conditioned bus, you'll pass the pretty Al Farooq Omar bin Al Khattab Mosque for a photo stop, then head to Jumeirah Open Beach for a shot of the iconic Burj Al Arab. You'll then take a scenic route through Palm Jumeirah, past the luxurious Atlantis The Palm and enjoy panoramic views along Sheikh Zayed Road. You'll pass the Mall of The Emirates and admire Ski Dubai, the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall, followed by the futuristic Museum of the Future and the Dubai Frame.

Then explore the charming neighborhoods of Al Seef and Al Bastakiya, where you'll enjoy a traditional Abra crossing on Dubai Creek. The tour ends with a visit to the bustling Spice Souk and Gold Souk, before returning to the hotel.

In the afternoon, your driver will take you into the Dubai desert. Aboard a 4x4, you'll take an impressive route through the dunes and stop at a camel farm, before joining a traditional camp. You'll be welcomed with a cup of Ghawa and local dates. Throughout the afternoon, you'll enjoy a wide range of activities on site, including camel riding, sand surfing and henna tattooing. You can also sample local snacks such as falafels. After admiring the sunset, you'll attend several folk dance, belly dance or fire blower performances around a traditional barbecue.

At the end of your excursion, you'll be taken back to your hotel in Dubai.

  • Availability: every day except Friday (except in exceptional cases)
  • Start time and place: between 7am and 8am at your Dubai hotel (exact time will be confirmed after booking)
     
  • This activity requires a minimum of 2 people
  • Children aged 0 to 4 inclusive are not allowed to take part in this activity
  • Desert safaris involve driving through sand dunes as well as on off-road tracks. This activity is therefore strongly discouraged for pregnant women, people with heart conditions, back or neck problems
  • Transportation during the guided tour is by air-conditioned bus.
  • During the day, you can take part in the following free activities: dune bashing, sandboarding, camel riding, henna tattooing, hookah and shows
  • You can also rent quads or buggies on site (extra charge)
  • During the summer (June to September), temperatures can sometimes reach 45 degrees. Humidity levels can also exceed 90% during this period. We recommend that all our customers take the necessary precautions
  • In order to respect the places visited, you are asked to follow a strict dress code:
    - For men: shorts are not allowed (pants reaching below the knees are nevertheless permitted); a long-sleeved top is mandatory. No visible tattoos
    - For women: no see-through or tight-fitting clothing; a long-sleeved top with a turtleneck is mandatory, and legs must not be visible (long dress or loose-fitting pants down to the ankles). Heads must be covered with a scarf. No visible tattoos
  • The local provider reserves the right to cancel any part of the planned program due to government decisions, public holidays, weather conditions or other similar circumstances
  • Delays in hotel pick-up as well as on the way back may occur due to traffic conditions in Dubai
  • Please note that during Islamic holidays, entertainment (belly dancing, Tanoura dancing) and alcohol consumption are prohibited throughout the United Arab Emirates. Therefore, the safari will take place without such entertainment and without alcohol service during these periods
  • After the morning tour of Dubai, you will be dropped off at the Dubai Mall (lunch break and shopping at your own expense). The meeting point and departure time for the safari will be communicated to you after booking
