Guided walking tour of Córdoba

Visit Córdoba, Argentina's largest university and colonial city with your guide!

Leaving in the early morning or afternoon, you'll be picked up from your hotel and set off to explore Argentina's second most populated city: Córdoba. Accompanied by a specialist guide, you'll visit the city's major landmarks.

Your tour will start with Córdoba's historical centre and San Martin Square, the Cabildo and the Cathedral which was built by Jesuit architects in 1580 during the Spanish conquest. Your guide will then take you to the Palace of Justice, Plaza Italia, La Cañada stream and Plaza de la Independencia.

You'll see the Libertador General San Martin theatre, with its Italian style - all the materials used to construct this theatre were imported from Europe at the end of the 19th century. You'll then head to the student district of Nueva Córdoba, one of the most densely populated parts the city due to numerous buildings with over 10 floors. 

You'll walk through the Capuchin Church, a colourful neo-Gothic church with a sublime view of the city from its bell tower. You'll then stroll through Sarmiento Park, towards the Government House and the University City. 

You'll then go along the Costanera del Río Suquía to reach the popular Barrio Alberdi district. You'll walk along Avenida Colon where you'll pass the Estadio Olímpico Córdoba, the Complejo Ferial, the Universidad Libre del Medio Ambiente and the Jardín Botánico de la Ciudad.

You'll cross the Río Suquia to enter the Cerro de Las Rosas neighbourhood where you'll see the Parque Autóctono belvedere.

You'll be taken back to your hotel at the end of this city tour.
