You will be picked up in a car that will take you to The Summer Palace for your tour. The Summer Palace was built in 1750 and today is one of the works of art in China’s landscape gardens. This palace is classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and represents harmony from an architectural point of view. It is considered “China’s Palace of Versailles”
Have lunch in a typical restaurant where you will be able to try local dishes.
You will then visit the Bell Tower in Northern Gulou. This 33 metre tall tower is home to the biggest and heaviest clock in China (7 metres and 63 tonnes). It was built in 1420 under the Ming dynasty.
Then walk around the Hutongs (Hutongs are small traditional Chinese streets and are iconic to Beijing). Stroll around the old parts of the city.
Finally, to finish your incredible day, set off for the Lama Temple also named The Yonghe Temple, the biggest Tibetan temple in Beijing.
