In the company of your guide you will visit the Damneok Saduak floating market and walk along the River Kwaï.
Enjoy a bus trip through the Thai countryside then board a motorized long-tail boat and travel across the water to the Damneok Saduak floating market. During the crossing, your guide will explain about the distinctive design of the boat as well as the unique market. You will also watch travelling merchants sail from boat to boat selling their wares.
You will then head for Kanchanaburi and the famous "Bridge on the River Kwaï". Walk along the so-called 'Death Railway', constructed in the 1940s by prisoners of war, and take in the stunning view of the bridge from the banks of the River Kwaï. At this point you can choose between 2 hours of free time or a visit to the Tiger Temple (supplement payable on the day).
After enjoying a typical Thai meal in a local restaurant, you will head back to Bangkok, passing villages, temples and fields as far as the eye can see.
