The bus will pick you up from your hotel in Athens, and you will head for the Delphi sanctuary, passing through the towns of Livadia and Arachova. Once you have arrived, you will explore the sanctuary, which is situated at the foot of Mont Parnasse and has a spectacular view of the Phedriades, two immense cliffs.
Accompanied by your guide, you will see the Temple of Apollo, where the Oracle of Delphi (sometimes called the Oracle of Apollo) spoke. Learn more about the famous oracle, and visit the archeological site in the sanctuary.
Next, head to Kalambaka, in the Thessalie region. You will quickly visit the town, before having dinner and spending the night in the hotel.
The second day, discover the meteores, anccient geoligical formations on which Orthodox Christian monastries have been built. In modern Greek, Meteora means "suspended in the sky". In ancient times, the only way to reach the monastries was by a system of pulleys and suspended baskets. The site is part of UNESCO's World Heritage List.
At the end of the day, you will be returned to your hotel in Athens.
