概要

Follow your guide on a bike ride along San Francisco Bay and cross the legendary Golden Gate!

You'll meet up with your guide and take possession of your bike in the Fisherman's Wharf area. You'll then set off for a ride of around 2.5-3 hrs, on an easy 15-km route over flat terrain (with only 2 or 3 climbs) and downhill for the last kilometre.

You'll ride along the bay from Fisherman's Wharf to the Golden Gate Bridge, passing Fort Mason, the Marina, the Presidio, Crissy Field and Fort Point. From the bay, you can admire Alcatraz Island in the distance. Your guide will comment on the places covered and share amusing anecdotes and historical facts along the way.

You then cross the famous Golden Gate to Sausalito, a charming fishing village where you can stroll freely at the end of your tour. The tour ends in Sausalito after around 2.5-3 hours. You can choose to return by ferry (ticket price not included) or take to your bike for the return journey.

注意事項

  • Availability: every day (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Departure point: close to Fisherman's Wharf
  • Arrival point: Sausalito
  • You will be asked to show ID on site
  • At the end of your tour, you can return to San Francisco by ferry or bike (ferry ticket not included)
  • Bike hire is valid for the whole day after the tour ends
  • You will need to return your bike to the shop at least 15 minutes before closing time (6pm on weekdays and 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays)
  • This route is easy. The tour is open to all
  • The total distance to be covered is 15 km
  • All participants must be able to ride a bike
  • Children under 18 are required by law to wear a helmet (supplied with the bike)
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
  • "Bike trailers" will be available for smaller children. However, they are reserved for children aged 1 and over
  • Electric bikes can only be reserved for participants aged 10 and over.
